Not Too Busy for Pictures...

We almost didn't get the Ryes' pictures done before Christmas. Between sick kids, scheduling conflicts and the weather, this day almost didn't happen. Mom and Dad own a successful private volleyball club called Skyline Juniors and this is the ABSOLUTE busiest time for them. I'm honored that they squeezed in an hour for me. Hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

{The Hustons}

For those of you who follow my blog may wander why you haven't heard from me. One word...holidays. That means traveling to see family, school's days out and kids are home more, and the big rush for Christmas family pictures for gifts and cards. I am having sooo much fun editing this family's pictures and had to take a quick break to post one. D & A, I hope you love it! I am SOOO close to being finished so I'm focusing all my attention on your images. Enjoy and you should be hearing from me by tomorrow.

Friendship is Good Medicine

This family has blessed my life on several levels. Dr. Kieser is my chiropractor. He takes better care of me than I take care of myself. I met mom at the office as well and she seemed like an instant friend. Neither she nor I ever meet a stranger; she is so friendly. Their magnetic personalities were passed on to their very spirited girls! Aren't they just beautiful. They will be my assistants soon because they had more pose ideas than I did. Smart and fun girls! I have a feeling this isn't the last you will see of the Kieser family. Hope you enjoy and more to come soon!

{Our Friends}

I feel very honored that our friends have asked me to photograph their families. This family is in our Bible Study group, the leaders in fact. It's almost scary how much we know one another since we only met them a year ago. We are very blessed to have them in our lives and I feel honored to be able to bless them with these. J & A, hope you like them!

Baby 'J' & Co.

I met this family through a referral from a fellow photographer, Kristin Cook.  Mom and Dad were up for any idea I had and for that I am thankful.  You never know until you try.  Baby 'J' was ALSO up for anything.  He only fussed once and it wasn't like what I hear at home! ;)  He was sooo happy the whole time.  Mom and Dad, like I promised, your sneak peek.  Hope you like them!

"K" Family

This family lives right across the street from us and mom wanted to get some impromptu shots of the family.  Luckily I was available and agreed to shoot them same day!  Wow, that never happens!  Kim, I hope you like them.  There are more, but these were the first few I finished.  I will email you when your proof gallery is ready to view.

{Sweet Family}

Meet the "C" family.  I always feel so comfortable around them because they are so easy going.  Example, kids all did what I asked and even baby "J" didn't fuss.  They didn't even have to bring snacks to the shoot.  PERFECT! Mom and Dad, thanks for taking time to do this.  I hope you enjoy your sneak peek and more are coming soon!

Fall Mailer 2009

I have designed a postcard to send to the E. Dallas area and then thought, I want to make this coupon available to everyone who follows my blog as well.  If you are interested in booking a session this fall, don't miss this opportunity to SAVE.  Just email me to let me know you saw the coupon, book your session  for Aug. 31-Nov. 15, 2009 and receive the discount on all products you purchase.  All orders must be placed before the 30-day proof gallery expiration.  {For example, if your session is held on Oct. 5 and your online proofing gallery debuts on Oct. 12, then you have 30 DAYS from Oct. 12 to qualify your order for the discount.}  Offer can be combined with the $50 credit you can receive when placing orders within the FIRST WEEK of proof gallery debut.  Offer can also be combined with all J. Jacobson Photography packages.  If you want to book a maternity or newborn session outside the Aug.31-Nov. 15, 2009 window, email me and we will work something out just for you! ;)

Coming up soon...
We will be holding Mini-Sessions for Christmas/Holiday cards, so keep your eye out for dates/times, locations, and holiday card templates.  We will offer 3 flat card templates and 2 folded cards.  You will LOVE them!  The 10% coupon DOES NOT apply to the Mini-Sessions because the prices are already incredible and the deal is to die for!  Check back for the details on Mini-Sessions just in time for the holidays!
